High faculty swimming: Berks swimmers, relays earn 31 top-8 seeds for the PIAA meet
Gov. Mifflin women are seeded first within the two hundred loose relay

Berks swimmers and relays preserve 31 top-8 seeds for the PIAA swimming championships at Bucknell University next week, led via the pinnacle-seeded Gov. Mifflin women 200 free relays. Mifflin, the defending Class 3A kingdom champion inside the event, is seeded first in 1:34.Seventy-four. The Mustangs are third in the four hundred unfastened relay (three:26.89). Schuylkill Valley junior Marlee Rickert is seeded second in each of her occasions in ladies 2A, the 50 loose (23.30) and 100 lower back (fifty-five .26). Also seeded 2d is Muhlenberg junior Roanoke Shirk within the boys 3A two hundred loose (1:39.06). Muhlenberg junior Cameron Gring is seeded 1/3 in the women 3A one hundred returned (55.94); she’s the protecting champion inside the event. Gring is seeded fifth within the two hundred IM (2:02.Sixty seven).
Wilson’s boys are seeded 2nd in the 3A 200 free relay (1:24.07).
The Panthers are seeded 2d inside the two hundred medley relay (1: forty six.77), 1/3 within the four hundred free relays (3:34.33), and fourth inside the 200 unfastened relays (1:38.19). Schuylkill Valley freshman Megan Ehrnfeldt is seeded third within the ladies 2A 500 unfastened (five:09.Seventy nine). Ehrnfeldt is also seeded 8th within the two hundred free (1: fifty-five .Forty one). Wilson senior Donovan Curran is seeded fourth in the boys 3A two hundred IM (1:51.21) and 500 free (four:32.77). Wyomissing freshman Hannah Hurleman is seeded fourth inside the women 2A 50 free (23.68) and one hundred loose (fifty-one .76).
Seeded inside the pinnacle eight in both their character events are Daniel Boone sophomore Chris Guiliano, 2 hundred IM (5th, 1:51.Ninety) and 100 unfastened (8th, forty five.88) in boys 3A; and Wilson sophomore Shelby Kahn, two hundred free (fifth, 1: fifty-one .28) and 500 unfastened (five:01.Fifty three); and Gov. Mifflin junior Emma Steckel, 50 loose (7th, 23.Sixty five) and a hundred loose (fourth, 51.38) in ladies 3A.
Another pinnacle 8 seeds: Gov. Mifflin senior Aiden McCurley, 50 unfastened (8th, 21.05) and Wilson’s four hundred free (5th, 3:06.43) and 2 hundred medley relays (seventh, 1:34.22) in boys 3A; Gov. Mifflin senior Becca Brown, 50 loose (6th, 23.Sixty five); Reading High senior Caroline Wasielevski, 50 free (eighth, 23.78); and Wilson’s two hundred loose (1:35.34) and four hundred free relays (seventh, three:29.83) in women 3A; and Brandywine Heights junior Skylar Strunk, 50 free (6th, 23.94) in ladies 2A. Owen J. Roberts junior Mikayla Niness is seeded 2d in the 50 free (23.37) in ladies 3A. The 2A championships are scheduled for March 13-14 and 3A for March 15-sixteen.
